for the MigraInsight application on iOS and Android

MigraInsight lets you record migraine-related information such as dates and times, duration, intensity, pain location, medication, triggers, and notes. This information can be health-related and sensitive. By design, these records are stored locally on your device.
If you purchase MigraInsight Pro and create an eligible new migraine entry, the app may request your current location while you are using the app in order to fetch a weather snapshot for that entry. This request is used to retrieve weather conditions at the time of the episode, such as weather condition, atmospheric pressure, pressure trend, and temperature.
MigraInsight does not store your raw latitude or longitude in your journal, CSV exports, or Doctor Report PDF. Instead, the app stores only the derived weather snapshot fields listed above.
To obtain the weather snapshot, your device may send your current location to platform location services and a weather data provider at the time of the request. On iOS this may include Apple services such as Core Location and WeatherKit. On Android this may include Google Play services location APIs and the configured weather provider used by the app. I do not operate a server that stores your raw location coordinates.
Location access is optional. If you deny location permission, MigraInsight will continue to work, but automatic weather snapshots for new Pro entries may be unavailable.
On iOS, MigraInsight may offer optional Apple platform integrations such as Apple Health and iCloud-based sync or backup features. If enabled, those integrations are governed by Apple’s own terms and privacy practices.
On Android v1, MigraInsight does not currently include cloud sync or health integrations. If those integrations are added in a later Android release, this policy may be updated accordingly.
MigraInsight offers an optional Pro unlock as a one-time in-app purchase. Purchases are processed by Apple on iOS through the App Store and by Google on Android through Google Play. I do not receive or store your full payment card details. Purchase processing is governed by Apple’s or Google’s terms and privacy practices.
If you use optional sync, backup, or export features, your data may be stored in files or services you control. This can include health-related journal details and any weather snapshot fields saved with entries. Platform-provided sync and storage features are governed by the relevant platform provider’s terms and privacy practices.
If you opt in at the operating-system level to share analytics or crash information with developers, your platform provider may provide me with anonymized crash logs or performance metrics. These reports do not include the full contents of your migraine journal.
Your journal entries remain on your device until you delete them. You can edit or delete entries in the app, export them for your own use, or remove the app to delete local data. If you enabled optional platform sync features, corresponding data may remain in the platform account or storage service you chose until you remove it there, subject to that provider’s retention practices.
You can revoke optional permissions at any time in your device settings. For example, you can disable Location access for MigraInsight in iOS Settings or Android system settings, and you can manage optional platform health access in the relevant privacy or health settings on supported devices.

MigraInsight is designed so that your journal stays local by default. If you choose optional platform services such as iCloud, Apple Health, Google Play billing, platform location services, or a weather data provider used by the app, those services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. I do not use third-party ad networks or analytics SDKs to monetize your data.
